Timberwolves Award
Timberwolves Award in Memory of Don Hahn
Don Hahn passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2014 at the age of 64. He was an avid sports fan, which showed throughout the years by supporting and watching his children and grandchildren in their endeavors.
He was an active supporter of the Timberwolves Athletic Association. Besides watching his grandchildren, Derek and Kyler, play on their respective Timberwolves basketball teams, he particularly enjoyed hosting the Timberwolves’ fall party. He would spend the afternoon driving the tractor for the hayrack rides for all.
The Timberwolves Award will be given to one player on each team. These players will demonstrate high levels of class and character both on and off the court. They exhibit values such as sportsmanship, integrity, selflessness, kindness, and perseverance. Awardees have dedication to and respect for their team, teammates and coaches. These players give maximum effort at practice and games, show improvement in basketball, and contribute to the success of the team.
Every player and coach on each team will individually vote for one player. The player receiving the most votes will win the award for the current basketball season. The winners will receive a plaque and a $50 scholarship to fundamental skills sessions.
